Egyptian Composer born in Cairo in 1969, he studied mechanical engineering at American Universirty in Cairo and graduated in 1991.
Tamer Karawan studied music at the Royal acadeny of Music in London, and worked as an editor at BCC in 1994,
then he became a documentry director at Orbit Network.
Karawan began working in the field of composing music for cinema since 1998 through the soundtack of the film" Al-Madina" (The City),
directed by Yossry Nasrallah, he composed soundtracks for many films, including: (Gate of the Sun, the Helioples Flat, Cabaret, Schehrazade,
Tell Me a Story, Natural Colors).
