The Parrot is a short fiction film about origin, identity and social adaptability. The film is the recipient of the 2015 Film Prize of the Robert Bosch Stiftung. The Parrot was shot in Jordan in September 2015,
its world premiere is at the 2016 Dubai International Film Festival.

ordanian writer/director Darin J. Sallam has directed four award-winning short films including STILL ALIVE and THE DARK OUTSIDE that screened at the Short Film Corner of Cannes 2010 and Cannes 2013.
Jordanian director / producer Amjad Al Rasheed attended the Berlinale Talent Campus (2007) and has directed five award-winning short films. He also directed the Jordanian comedy series "The Rania Show".
